Module 1: Dub Mixing Fundamentals

In this first module, you'll dive into dub history and discover what dub mixing really is, how a real dub mixer works, and how to turn Ableton and a MIDI controller into a real dub mixing studio inside your computer.

We go deep on effects: the different types, how to set them up in Ableton, and hands on exercises to build the gestures in your hands. By the end, you'll be able to record your own dub versions live, straight into the project.

Requirements

To get the most out of the training, you'll need Ableton Live Suite 11 or 12, which lets you skip external plugins entirely.
