DBT UFO Drum

DBT UFO Drum is a Max for Live drum synth built from the flying-saucer drum synth of the late seventies, the one you hear on a thousand disco and dub records. Disco toms, kicks, lasers, zaps, sirens and noise, with the behaviour of the real circuit.

The controls

SENS. How hard your hits open the drum. Soft playing or full slam.

OSCILLATOR 1. Square wave from 40 Hz to 1.5 kHz. OSC 1, NOISE or OFF.

OSCILLATOR 2. A second tone, or SLO, a slow LFO for the classic wobble.

FILTER. Four-pole filter with Tune, Osc 2, Sweep, Resonance that sings on its own, and Decay.

AMPLIFIER. Decay from 20 ms to 2 s. Volume in dB: 0 is the factory level, +12 to push.

Two looks. Your Ableton theme by default, or the black hardware skin.
