DBT Preamp

DBT Preamp is a Max for Live microphone and preamp device. Three mic colours in front of three preamp types: half of the vintage sound is already there before any effect.

The controls

MICROPHONE. Type: off, dynamic, ribbon or condenser. Amount doses its colour, full at 50 %, exaggerated above.

ANGLE. 0 to 90 degrees. Turn the mic off axis and the top end goes away.

LO CUT. 10 to 300 Hz. Clears the mud before the drive.

MODE. IRON for weight, VALVE for warmth, CRUNCH for bite.

DRIVE. From a hint of colour to full crunch. The red SAT LED follows the real saturation.

INPUT / OUTPUT. Input -12 to +24 dB, Output -24 to +12 dB. LINK lowers the output as you push the input.

What's inside

27 presets. Drums, bass, skank guitar, organ, melodica, horns, vocals, mix bus, siren.

Screen and looks. Mic curve and live spectrum of this preamp. Your Ableton theme by default, or a hardware face that follows the mode.
