DBT Plate is a Max for Live plate reverb for Ableton Live 11 and 12. It lets you choose among analog plates and digital plates in a single device.

What we chased

We wanted the possibility to choose among several plates in a single device.

The controls

PLATES
There are analog plates and digital plates, and you choose the one you like.

DECAY
You set the decay with a vertical slider, and the plus and minus buttons make fine steps.

PRE DELAY
The pre delay knob sets the delay before the plate starts.

BASS AND TREBLE
The BASS and TREBLE knobs shape the tail, up or down, without touching the dry sound.

DRIVE AND EQ
The DRIVE knob pushes the plate input for more punch and richness, and an advanced panel holds a real little EQ.

WIDTH AND OUTPUT
The WIDTH knob sets the stereo width, and the OUTPUT knob sets the level.

LOW CUT AND MIX
The LOW CUT knob cuts the low end before the plate, and the MIX knob sets the blend. Both can be locked, so they stay in place when you change presets.

PRESETS
Ready made presets give you a starting point to explore new sounds. The levels of the presets are matched, so you can flip through them without touching the fader.

TWO LOOKS
You can change the look by clicking the screw on the top left. The default look follows your Ableton theme, and the other is the steel and wood plate.

Good to know

This device works with Ableton Live 11 and 12, and it needs Max for Live.
